01I've never boxed. Does that matter?

No. Boxing experience, fitness, age and gender make no difference to your ability to train and learn.

02Do I need my own equipment?

Not to start. Equipment is supplied while you find your feet. Later on you can get your own hand wraps and skipping rope for about $10 to $15 each, and gloves from about $30 a pair. (Remote clients need their own.)

03How much is a session and how long does it go?

Sessions are $85 for 60 minutes and are tailored to you. First sessions usually run longer while Dash covers the basics and works out your fitness and skill level.

04What will I actually be doing?

Strength and cardio conditioning, technique, practice, agility, reflex and core work, weighted to suit your goals.

05Can I train with a friend or family member?

Yes. The price stays the same and is shared between you, although Dash's attention is split between you. You can also put together your own small group for private classes.

06What's remote training?

Sessions by video stream for people who live remote, travel for work or are short on time. The program, the attention and the price are the same as in person.

07How is Dash different from a PT?

It's a bit like the difference between a police officer and a lawyer: both work in law, but one is far more specialised. Dash spent five years as an understudy learning the craft of boxing: strength, conditioning and core work, correct movement, acceleration and deceleration, technique, sports psychology, massage and nutrition. That's a different education from general fitness training. There are some great PTs around, so take the time to work out what's right for you.

08I train for another sport. Can Dash still help?

Yes. Dash works with MMA fighters, swimmers, divers, bodybuilders, fitness models and footballers from every code. The agility, fitness and strength carry straight over.

09Can Dash get me ready for an amateur fight?

Yes. Dash Perry Boxing is a registered club with Boxing SA, and Dash runs a pathway from amateur through to professional for people who want to compete.

10Where do you train?

1042 Grand Junction Rd, Holden Hill, close to Tea Tree Plaza and the Interchange.

11How do I get started?

Start with a quick chat about your goals, the training you need and what times suit. It helps Dash work out if you're the right fit for each other. Call or text 0447 142 617, email dashielperry@icloud.com, or use the contact page.
